A Fantasy based on a true story….the USS Kittiwake Shipwreck – Grand Cayman

One day while on a Caribbean vacation, having lunch at a restaurant that overlooks the beautiful turquoise waters, my sister and I, both grandmothers, overheard a small child raise an earnest question to his father. “Daddy, why are they going to sink that ship?”

That child never knew his innocent question about a real WWII ship Kittiwake, was about to turn into a reimagined Fantasy tale titled “Kitti, the Cargo Ship,” showing how life evolves, and how change can be a good thing down at the bottom of the sea, where Kitti will remain forever with a perpetual smile across her bow. Over time, colorful coral grew around the ship, and fish of all kinds, swim in and out of her port holes, luring divers and snorkelers from around the globe to marvel at her beauty.
